Board members- Non-Executive Directors

Multicultural Services currently has vacancies for individuals to join our board of management. Board members (Non-Executive Directors) of Multicultural Services will be passionately committed to multiculturalism and capacity building in communities in central Victoria.

The Multicultural Services Board is appointed to:

  • Provide purpose, leadership, direction and a strategic vision
  • Ensure all legal and financial responsibilities are met and that finances are sound and operations are legal
  • Carry out risk management
  • Select and oversee the Executive Officer
  • Evaluate and improve its own effectiveness

Community Development Coordinator

Multicultural Services is currently recruiting a part-time Community Development Coordinator. This position will coordinate our Capacity Building Program. It will implement and support a range of projects that build the knowledge and skills of multicultural communities to fully participate and contribute to everyday life in Victoria.

  • A resume including contact details of three professional referees
  • A cover letter and statement addressing each of the Key Selection Criteria in the Position Description. Applicants should aim to write one paragraph per Key Selection Criteria, outlining how their experience, skills, knowledge or qualifications align with that criteria. In writing each paragraph, examples of previous work or achievements may be used.
