Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services appoints Dimity Fifer as new CEO

The Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Service Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dimity Fifer as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Dimity comes to LCMS with an extensive background in strategic and executive leadership. She is the former CEO of Australian Volunteers International, Good Shepherd, and the Victorian Council of Social Services; has been a member of the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation; and currently convenes the Pacific Women’s Network.

Dimity has worked extensively with culturally diverse communities and organisations in Australia, the Pacific, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, with a focus on empowering community leaders and building the capacity of organisations. Her strengths and values-based approach to leadership – and demonstrated partnership, business development and advocacy skills – will provide an outstanding opportunity for LCMS as we continue to champion, support, and amplify the voices of multicultural communities to exercise their human rights and participate in all aspects of life in our region.

A key focus of the incoming CEO’s role will be to strengthen, support, work collaboratively with, and create pathways for the next generation of multicultural leaders in the Loddon Campaspe region.

Dimity will commence her tenure with LCMS in January, replacing Deanna Neville who has been Acting CEO while the search for permanent leadership was undertaken.

The LCMS Board would like to thank and acknowledge Acting CEO Deanna Neville, Business Manager Alison Chapman, and the entire LCMS staff, for their ongoing work to progress LCMS’s strategic goals over the transition period. We look forward to building on these strong foundations under new leadership in 2024.

On behalf of the LCMS Board, we wish our members, partners, stakeholders, and communities across the regions a safe and happy holiday season.

Merrilyn Gaulke

Chair, LCMS Board of Directors
