Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services has been offered grant funding from the Department of Social Services, to offer support to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to access the National Redress Scheme. The Redress Scheme provides supports to survivors of institutional child sexual abuse to be able to access counselling, a direct personal response, and a Redress payment. The public announcement was made today regarding the allocation of grant funding of over $39.7 million nation-wide, to boost support services for Redress by the Minister for Social Services Amanda Rishworth:
